Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician to provide on-site technical support at our Schiphol-Rijk facilities in the Netherlands. You will perform Remote Hands tasks, rack installs, and diagnostics to ensure uptime and client satisfaction.

You should bring hands-on data center experience, strong English communication, and the ability to lift 25 kg. Weekend and holiday on-call are part of the role, with potential for growth in a global services environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure.
• Knowledge of server hardware, networking, and cabling standards.
• Reliable transportation and proximity to local data centers.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift 25kg+ equipment.
• Flexible availability including weekends/holidays for urgent requests.

Responsibilities

• Remote Hands & Smart Hands support (cabling, power cycling, hardware swaps)
• Server rack installation and decommissioning
• Cross-connect and patch panel management
• Hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Visual inspections and inventory audits
• Escort and access coordination for client visits
• Emergency response and on-call availability
