Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Nieuwegein, Netherlands, is seeking a Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role supporting critical facilities.

You will install, configure and maintain server and network gear, perform cabling, monitor power and cooling, and respond to incidents. A minimum of 3+ years in data center ops is required; ITIL knowledge and vendor certifications are a plus. Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• ITIL knowledge preferred.
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE) or vendor certs (Dell, HPE, Cisco) preferred.
• CCNA or JNCIA preferred.
• DCIM platforms experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
