Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician Offshore for HKW VII, based in Den Helder. This full-time role focuses on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic service, inspections, and fault-finding on offshore wind turbines.

You will document work in CMMS, manage time and materials, and coordinate maintenance planning, working in a safety-first environment. Qualifications include an electrical/mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent, English fluency, and a Dutch driving license.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship or relevant experience.
• Technical education in Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulics.
• AT/CT WTSR accreditation advantageous.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings.
• MS Office and SAP experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Dutch/EU driving license; own transport preferred.
• Safety-minded and offshore/at heights.
• Willingness to learn and ask for help.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met.
• Develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines.
• Perform periodic service inspections with component replacement and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate document trails through CMMS.
• Registration of time & Materials to Work Orders.
• Monitor turbines and pro-actively prepare for required maintenance.
