Job summary

PALFINGER MARINE in the Netherlands is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to perform service, commissioning, and inspections on lifeboats, davit/winch systems, and PALFINGER cranes at customer sites.

You will diagnose, repair, and optimize hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, travel to offshore locations as needed, and document reports while adhering to HSE and quality standards. This role offers growth opportunities within PALFINGER MARINE.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with hydraulic systems and mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing and maintaining complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of cranes, hydraulic systems, and electrical components in marine environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, commissioning, and inspections on lifeboats, davit/winch systems, PALFINGER cranes, and life-saving equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and overhaul mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic control systems to ensure safe operation.
• Apply hydraulics, electronics, and mechanical know-how to optimize equipment performance and resolve field issues.
• Prepare service reports, inspection records, and technical documentation for compliance.
• Adhere to HSE policies and company procedures while supporting continuous improvement.
