Job summary

Innovate is seeking a hands-on Hydraulic Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and certify hydraulic systems for offshore projects in the Rotterdam region. You will split time between yards, workshops and project sites, with around 15 weeks offshore on board the fleet.

You’ll join a small service team and work alongside Equipment Mechanics to ensure safety, certification and readiness for operations. A technical MBO qualification and at least 2 years of hydraulics experience are required, plus

Qualifications

• MBO qualification in a technical discipline.
• At least 2 years hands-on hydraulics experience.
• Able to read hydraulic drawings and documentation.
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and classifications.
• Willingness to travel and work offshore (up to ~15 weeks per year).
• Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot hydraulic equipment and systems.
• Manage hydraulic hose inspections and replacements per certification requirements.
• Support mobilisation/demobilisation of equipment onshore and offshore.
• Assist Equipment Mechanics with hydraulic work.
• Ensure hydraulic equipment is certified and recorded in internal systems.
• Carry out work safely and efficiently on site and onboard.
