Job summary

FMTC Safety in Badhoevedorp, Netherlands, seeks an Offshore Helideck Instructor to enable safe helicopter operations and real-life emergency preparedness at our training center.

You will own and deliver courses on helideck operations, align with OPITO, GWO and industry standards, and lead hands-on drills that simulate real scenarios while emphasising safety and passenger handling. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Offshore helideck operations experience is required.
• Instructor experience is a plus; mindset matters.
• Certifications in OPITO HLO/HERTL or GWO preferred or willingness to obtain them.
• Good command of English.
• Proactive, flexible and hands-on attitude.
• Strong passion for safety and training.
• Experience in offshore operations, emergency response or aviation safety is a strong advantage.
• Commitment to safety rules and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training courses for helideck operations according to OPITO, GWO and industry standards (HLO, HERTL and others).
• Execute and continuously improve hands-on training sessions, including realistic helideck scenarios, emergency response drills and helicopter landing coordination.
• Guide participants through practical helideck operations, including safety protocols, passenger handling and emergency procedures.
• Uphold the highest safety standards, because in this role, rules and procedures are non-negotiable.
