Job summary

Van Storm Recruitment is seeking a Geotechnical Offshore Engineer to design anchoring and foundation solutions for offshore structures, mooring systems and FPSOs, focusing on soil conditions, mooring loads and floating platforms.

You will interpret site investigation data, perform geotechnical calculations, coordinate with vendors, and support offshore installation from design to execution in the Amsterdam area. Occasional travel to yards and client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Geotechnical design for offshore foundations and mooring systems.
• Geotechnical stability calculations for offshore structures.
• Experience with Orcaflex, Ariane or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare geotechnical designs for anchor points (piles, monopiles, suction caissons, drag anchors).
• Perform geotechnical stability calculations for offshore foundations.
• Analyse site investigation and soil data for offshore and nearshore projects.
• Translate geotechnical conditions into engineering requirements for mooring and foundation systems.
• Manage geotechnical interfaces with other engineering teams.
