Job summary

A leading engineering company in renewable energy is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in Zaandam. You will manage the full project lifecycle of offshore heavy-lift equipment, translating complex specifications into safe, reliable machinery. The ideal candidate will have a BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering and 3–7 years of experience in designing power & control systems. Proficiency in EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical is essential. Qualifications

• 3–7 years designing power & control systems for cranes or comparable heavy machinery.
• Strong command of IEC 60204-1, IEC 60092, and functional safety standards.
• Fluent English; Dutch or German is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Turn functional requirements into detailed electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Specify components in compliance with industry standards.
• Track budgets, schedules, and report risks to project leadership.
