Job summary

Jobster in the Netherlands seeks an Offshore Deckhand to perform a range of deck duties on offshore platforms. You will join a crew, rotate between tasks, and live on site for two to three weeks at a time, depending on the schedule.

The role requires VMBO level with technical insight, relevant experience in heavy industry or petrochem, and certifications like NOGEPA 0.5 A/B, VCA, and Offshore Medical. You’ll work safely and collaboratively in a dynamic offshore environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum VMBO level with technical understanding.
• Relevant experience in heavy industry, industrial cleaning, offshore, or petrochemistry.
• Willing to obtain certificates such as NOGEPA 0.5 A/B, VCA, Offshore Medical.

Responsibilities

• Assist crane operator on deck during lifting operations.
• Ensure helicopter, crew, and cargo safety on deck (HLO duties).
• Be part of onboard fire-fighting team.
• Perform industrial cleaning and maintenance on deck (painting).
• Assist crew as needed and keep deck orderly and presentable.
