Job summary

iPS Powerful People (B Corp™) is seeking a 2nd Engineer for a long-term offshore project in Dutch waters, on a 5:5 rotation. You will join the Chief Engineer and take ownership of day-to-day engine room operations to support safe, reliable vessel performance.

The role covers routine maintenance, inspections, fault finding, and close collaboration with the engineering team to uphold high safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Seasoned marine engineer with offshore experience and day-to-day ownership of technical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily engine room operations and machinery maintenance.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
• Support troubleshooting and repair activities when equipment issues arise.
• Monitor machinery performance and report technical concerns.
• Help maintain maintenance records and technical documentation.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure safe vessel operations.
• Promote a strong safety culture and maintain high operational standards.
