Job summary

Qabird is seeking a 2nd Engineer for offshore installation vessels in Rotterdam. This role entails maintenance and optimization of technical installations while working in a 12-hour rotation.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on DP vessels.
• Specific knowledge and experience with offshore installation vessels.
• Good command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize technical systems on board vessels.
• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on installations.
• Instruct and supervise assigned crew members.
• Maintain ship administration according to Van Oord standards.
• Prepare and execute specific maintenance projects.
