Job summary

Genmab is seeking a highly motivated intern to join the quantitative pharmacology and translational modeling team in Utrecht, Netherlands. You will develop a mechanistic ocular PBPK framework for ADCs and payloads, linking systemic kinetics to eye compartments.

The role involves literature reviews, model implementation in R, data curation, calibration, and generation of a manuscript-ready report. Start date is 1 November 2026; hybrid, full‑time internship with scoped goals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program at a Dutch university in pharmacometrics, pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical engineering, systems biology, quantitative biology, bioinformatics, toxicology, biomedical sciences, or a related field.
• Internship must be a formal, mandatory component of your degree program.
• Available for 6–12 months; 9–10 months preferred.
• Experience with R or Python and mechanistic PK modeling is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a structured literature review of PK/ocular safety topics.
• Build a curated, analysis-ready evidence base with ocular PK data and relevant properties.
• Implement a reproducible ocular PBPK model in R or equivalent.
• Calibrate and evaluate the framework using case studies across targets and payloads.
• Translate results into a risk‑assessment workflow for ADC design decisions.
