Job summary

agap2 is seeking an NPI Engineer to join our international team with a local Dutch focus. You will drive the introduction of new products from development into production within a high-tech manufacturing environment, coordinating between R&D, engineering and manufacturing.

This role spans multiple industries and requires adaptable, proactive collaboration. The ideal candidate holds an HBO-level technical degree and has experience in NPI, manufacturing or process development, with strong

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication across engineering and production teams.
Proactive, structured and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Experience with NPI, manufacturing engineering or process development.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma principles.
Experience with CAD software and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

Review product designs and provide DFM and DFA input.
Identify production, assembly and quality issues early in development.
Develop and improve manufacturing processes and workflows.
Support selection and introduction of production equipment and fixtures.
Plan and coordinate prototype builds, trials and pilot production.
Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs and quality guidelines.
Support transition of new products into production and optimize cycle time, cost and yield.
