Job summary

Thales Nederland is seeking an NPI engineer to bridge product design and manufacturing, ensuring smooth transition from prototype to volume production. You will act as the interface between development, purchasing and supply chain, guiding PCBAs to scalable and cost-effective fabrication.

The role requires a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, a proactive mindset to shorten time-to-market, and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering degree.
• Proactive and creative in finding ways to shorten time-to-market and reduce cost.
• Background in an engineering or production environment.
• Independent but collaborative.
• Creative, enterprising and problem solving.
• Enthusiastic and persistent with good communication skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical and logistic interface between engineering and industry
• Overseeing manufacturing processes, developing product documentation, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with quality standards
• Also driving continuous improvements to make new products manufacturable and cost-effective
• Long lead items management with suppliers
• Keep track on outstanding orders, ensure pro-active communication to the development teams on the status and progress
• Resolve technical issues with suppliers to ensure smooth manufacturing and delivery
