Job summary

Fokker Techniek in Woensdrecht is seeking an NH90 Mechanic to maintain and service helicopter systems, ensuring aviation standards are met. You will perform entry tests upon NH90 arrival and work on mechanical and electrical helicopter systems and engines in accordance with Part 145.

We value MBO level qualifications, knowledge of procedures and manuals within Aerospace, and reading English for manuals and drawings.

Qualifications

• MBO level is required for this role.
• Ability to read and understand technical English in manuals and drawings.
• Experience with helicopter/rotary wing or military aircraft is a plus.
• Module 12 certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Skilled with disassembly/assembly using hand tools and with measuring tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service helicopter systems and engines per aviation standards.
• Perform entry tests on NH90 on arrival and prepare components for work.
• Repair, revise, modify and test parts and composite systems.
• Work with colleagues to ensure compliance with regulations and safety.

Job description

Join our growing team as an NH90 Mechanic, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing helicopter systems to ensure aviation standards are met.

How you keep the engine running with us

As a NH90 Mechanic, you play an important role in the execution of work on mechanical and electrical helicopter systems and engines in accordance with the Part 145. Upon arrival of the NH90 helicopter, you perform entry tests. Furthermore, you are engaged in repairing, revising, modifying, testing, preparing and adjusting part and composite helicopter systems. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that work is done in accordance with the rules and standards in aviation. You will be working for Fokker Techniek in Woensdrecht. It is possible that you have to temporary carry out work within you area of expertise, outside of the Netherlands or at our civil AMRO facility at Fokker Techniek.

How you are valuable to us

• MBO level (VMBO niv 3/4 + job-oriented programs, ie VOM / VOT);
• Knowledge of procedures, regulations, manuals, technical manuals and regulations, as well as the applicable information systems within Aerospace;
• Experience with helicopter/ rotary wing and/or militarily aircraft are a plus;
• Adequate level of reading and understanding technical English for reading manuals, drawings and instructions;
• In possession of module 12 or willing to obtain it if necessary;
• Craftsmanship is required for disassembly and assembly work with hand tools and the adjustment of aircraft systems, as well as for operating measuring tools and special test equipment.
