Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Leiden invites a Master’s or WO student to join the Quality Control Centre of Excellence for an internship focused on Next-Generation Sequencing. Qualifications

• WO Bachelor's or Master’s in Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Virology, or a related field
• Practical lab experience in molecular biology (DNA/RNA techniques)
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Willing to work in Leiden
• Available for 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Planning and conducting molecular biology experiments in the laboratory
• Analyzing sequencing datasets and designing follow-up experiments
• Reviewing literature to identify novel methods and insights
• Maintaining accurate documentation of procedures and results
• Developing internal training materials for the team
• Writing your thesis (if applicable) aligning with university program
