Job summary

YorTeam B.V. seeks a Senior Network Operations Engineer to own day-to-day network stability across a large-scale enterprise. You will work in an Agile squad with modern Aruba-based technologies and handle incidents, changes and deployments in a global environment.

You will drive RCA, automation and monitoring, collaborating with regional IT teams. The role is hybrid, offering hands-on networking leadership and opportunity to improve service continuity across offices in Europe.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HPE Aruba experience in an enterprise network
• Experience with Aruba technologies such as Aruba Central, Aruba ClearPass, Aruba Wireless, Aruba CX and/or Aruba SD-Branch
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise WiFi / wireless networking
• Strong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching
• Good understanding of SD-WAN, including IPsec, overlays, segmentation and routing
• Knowledge of enterprise authentication, including 802.1X and RADIUS
• Experience with ITIL-based incident and change management
• Ability to independently troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement solutions
• Experience with monitoring, alerting and service-impact analysis
• Working knowledge of Python, REST APIs and Git
• Strong English communication skills, combined with an ownership-driven and automation-focused mindset
• Professional experience working within European enterprise environments

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex LAN, WiFi, SD-WAN, routing, switching and authentication-related incidents
• Perform structured root cause analysis (RCA) and help prevent recurring network issues
• Independently handle operational tickets, service requests, configuration changes and deployments
• Monitor network services, interpret alerts and assess their potential impact on users and business services
• Troubleshoot enterprise authentication and network access flows, including 802.1X and RADIUS
• Work with SD-WAN technologies, including overlays, IPsec connectivity, segmentation and routing
• Work hands-on with HPE Aruba networking technologies within a large-scale enterprise environment
• Improve operational efficiency through Python scripting, REST APIs, automation, monitoring and documentation
• Test and support network releases and configuration changes before and after deployment
• Collaborate with regional IT teams, suppliers, stakeholders and end-users to resolve operational issues
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team
• Participate in an occasional standby/on-call rotation

Job description

As a Senior Network Operations Engineer, you will join an Agile networking squad responsible for the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of a large-scale enterprise office network. You’ll work with modern HPE Aruba, wired, wireless, SD-WAN and network access technologies to provide reliable and secure connectivity across offices worldwide.

This is a hands-on operational role, rather than a project-based assignment. You will take ownership of incidents, changes, deployments, service stability, release testing and continuous improvement within a complex international environment.

Important: For this position, we can only consider candidates who have previous professional working experience within the EU. Applications from candidates without EU work experience will unfortunately not be considered.

Your Job

Your Profile

You are an experienced Network Operations Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical issues and taking ownership of business-critical network services. You combine strong networking knowledge with an operational mindset and are comfortable working independently in a large-scale enterprise environment.

You bring:

• Hands-on HPE Aruba experience in an enterprise network environment.
• Experience with Aruba technologies such as Aruba Central, Aruba ClearPass, Aruba Wireless, Aruba CX and/or Aruba SD-Branch.
