Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Country Manager for the Netherlands to lead DFDS Logistics across multiple locations, balancing commercial, operational and people leadership. You will drive growth, align strategies with regional leadership, and ensure safe, efficient operations while delivering customer value across Europe.

This leadership role requires building high-performing teams, managing P&L, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to implement DFDS Logistics strategies and improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading larger operational and commercial logistics organizations incl. trailer transport, contract logistics and warehousing.
• Availability for frequent travel across multiple European countries is essential.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including P&L responsibility.
• A track record of delivering growth and performance improvements.
• Experience developing leaders and building high-performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to balance strategic direction with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead DFDS Logistics Netherlands with responsibility for performance and development.
• Drive growth and profitability through multiple logistics activities and locations.
• Build and develop the local leadership team and cross-location collaboration.
• Ensure safe, efficient and customer-focused operations across sites.
• Strengthen relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and organisational development.
• Contribute to the broader DFDS Logistics strategy across Europe.
