Job summary

Akkuro is hiring a .NET Developer to join our Product Development team in Deventer. You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, from defining technical direction to delivery via Azure Pipelines.

You will help reduce Technical Debt and support migration to .NET 8, while collaborating with an international team. You will specify solutions, write technical specs, and drive improvements within and beyond your team.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a software developer.
• Proficiency with .NET and C# is preferred.
• Experience with Azure Pipelines and cloud migrations is a plus.

As an experienced developer, you play a key role across the full software development lifecycle — from defining the technical solution direction to delivery through our Azure Pipelines. Your expertise helps reduce Technical Debt, including by contributing to our migration to .NET 8.

• Safeguarding architecture and championing the architectural vision within your team; contributing to technical specifications for new features
• Initiating and implementing technical improvements — within your own team and organisation-wide
• Coaching and mentoring less-experienced colleagues so they can grow in their roles

What you will do as a .NET Developer

As an experienced developer, you are involved in the entire process, from specifying the technical solution to delivery via our Azure Pipelines. You proactively help reduce Technical Debt — for example, by supporting our migration to .NET 8.

You add value in your own way, for example by:

• Safeguarding architecture and promoting the architectural vision in your team
• Contributing to writing (technical) specifications for new features
• Rolling out technical improvements, both within and beyond your team
• Acting as a mentor for developers with slightly less experience

What you bring as a .NET Developer

A strong drive and enthusiasm to build software that makes a major impact in the financial sector. Enjoyment in your work matters to us — as does your ambition to keep developing.

We also value:

• Several years’ experience as a developer; principles such as SOLID and Clean Code are second nature. Experience with .NET is preferred, but we also welcome experience with other OO languages such as Java
• Experience with Azure is a big plus (not mandatory)
• Willingness to work hybrid; connection matters to us, so you join the team on-site at least 2 days per week in Deventer
• Strong communication skills
• Openness to an international setting (we collaborate with developers in Romania and Vietnam; you are comfortable speaking English with international colleagues)
