Job summary

Akkuro, part of Topicus, seeks a .NET Developer in Amsterdam to design, develop, and optimize software that supports and expands MoneyView operations. You will work closely with product specialists, contribute to architecture, and help deliver solutions that improve efficiency and client service.

Candidates should have HBO-level education with several years of .NET, C#, JavaScript, and SQL Server experience, and be comfortable in Dutch as the working language.

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant experience as a .NET developer using Visual Studio (C#, JavaScript) and SQL Server.
• Strong ability to design, develop, and optimize software systems in a small, autonomous team.
• Fluency in Dutch and willingness to work from Amsterdam or Assen offices.

The impact you will make as a .NET Developer

You will be closely involved in the design, development, and optimisation of all software that supports and expands our operations. From architectural design to deployment, you play an active role throughout the process. Working alongside our product specialists, you create smart solutions that make a tangible difference.

Since 2025, we have operated as an independent division of Topicus Finance, an IT company specialised in Vertical Market Software. This enables us to benefit from the expertise and facilities of our parent company, such as the Topicus University. Alongside our own compact IT team (5–6 developers), we collaborate with hundreds of IT colleagues to share insights and expertise. You can now also join both MoneyView and Topicus events. Importantly, we do not develop software on commission. Our software is generic, but we always aim to translate client needs into functionality that benefits all users.

• Building complex computational applications that strengthen our core processes
• Safeguarding and maintaining a scalable, future-proof architecture
• Writing and maintaining technical specifications
• Sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues
• Enhancing internal data processing tools for greater efficiency

What you bring as a .NET Developer

You have a strong drive to contribute to our mission of making financial products transparent and comparable, helping clients, and ultimately consumers, make better financial decisions. Other qualities include:

• The flexibility to take ownership within a small, informal, and largely self-managing team
• The ability to translate internal client needs into accessible, user-friendly, and innovative software solutions

More specifically:

• A higher professional education (HBO) level
• Several years of relevant experience as a .NET developer using Visual Studio (C#, JavaScript) and SQL Server
• A preference for spending part of the week in the office (Amsterdam or Assen) to collaborate and fully understand MoneyView
• Fluency in Dutch, as this is our working language
