Job summary

Built Different in Amsterdam is seeking a Backend Engineer to build the services behind our mobile app and web platform, talking to customers and shaping what gets built. You’ll own the outcome and operate with a product mindset.

We use C# .NET Core on Azure, practice CI/CD, automated testing, and design for scale as we expand to new markets. Office in central Amsterdam with flexible working and equity on offer.

Qualifications

• Backend engineer with a product mindset and customer-facing mindset.
• Experience with cloud services and scalable backend architectures.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership in a startup environment.

What you'll be doing

• Building and evolving the backend services behind a mobile app and web platform used by drivers and charger owners
• Working in C# .NET Core on Azure infrastructure (Dont have experience, thats fine too, its about HOW you approach development)
• Taking part in product discovery and validating outcomes with customers
• Contributing to CI/CD, automated testing, and engineering standards
• Evolving the architecture as they scale across new markets
