A leading yacht design firm in the Netherlands is seeking a Naval Architect to develop structural designs for yacht projects. The role involves creating 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates hold a degree in Naval Architecture or related fields, have strong English communication skills, and demonstrate a passion for yacht design. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop structural designs for yacht projects and ensure class approval.
• Create 2D scantling plans, structural arrangements, and technical drawings.
• Work with AutoCAD and, ideally, Rhino to produce 3D models.
• Ensure compliance with classification society regulations and client specifications.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and shipyards.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Structural Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Rhino experience is a plus).
• Strong communication skills in English.
• A proactive, problem‑solving mindset and passion for yacht design.
• The ability to work effectively within a collaborative project team.
• Must have the rights to live and work in the European Union.
