Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the Netherlands is seeking a Naval Architect for a long-term project in hydrostatics and weight control. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the Maritime industry. Responsibilities include performing ship design calculations and collaborating with clients. Overview

Naval Architect Hydrostatics & Weight Control role at MULTI.engineering (Netherlands) – long term project. The position involves working on ship design calculations focused on weight control and hydrostatics.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ship design calculations focusing on weight control and hydrostatics
  • Utilize ship design software (e.g., PIAS stability software)
  • Conduct inclining tests and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and shipyards
  • Contribute to R&D, proposals, and engineering, ensuring compliance with specifications
Profile / Qualifications
  • You have a bachelor degree in Engineering, Maritime or in another technical field
  • You have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar position
  • You have experience in the Maritime and/or offshore industry
  • You have excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written). Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
  • You have European citizenship
