Job summary

Picnic is seeking a Distribution Area Lead (Regio Mid NL) to enhance operational performance across multiple Hubs in the Netherlands. You will coach Hub Leads, support on-site teams, and focus on safety, customer experience, process efficiency, and team well-being.

Based in Utrecht, you will travel between hubs, collaborate with the Amsterdam office and remote colleagues, and guide teams from startup to high performance through data-driven improvements and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Finished Bachelors or Masters degree.
• 3–6 years in a leadership role in logistics, e-commerce or hospitality.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to travel between hub locations.
• Driver's license (type B).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Hub Leads across multiple hubs.
• Improve safety, service quality and efficiency.
• Drive daily operational performance and process improvements.
• Develop leadership potential and personal growth of the team.
• Coordinate with Amsterdam office and remote colleagues.
• Travel to different hub locations as needed.
