Neways-Electronics-International-Nv in Echt (Netherlands) is seeking a Cable Assembly Technician to build (complex) cables from start to finish, combining mechanical and electrical work.
You will read technical drawings, translate customer specifications into a finished product, and work in a precise, quality-focused team environment. The role requires 32–40 hours per week and Dutch or English proficiency.
At our site in Echt, we produce high-quality cables for the high-tech industry. As an assembly technician, you build cables from start to finish.
As a Cable Assembly Technician, you work on both mechanical and electrical aspects. You're responsible for building (complex) cables from start to finish. We’re also looking for:
At least a completed MBO level 3 education in a technical field and/or substantial work experience in a technical environment — preferably in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, electrical engineering, aircraft maintenance, mechatronics, or a comparable field. We also encourage you to apply if you have a different educational background but sufficient technical experience.
Experience in reading technical drawings and schematics.
Good command of either the Dutch or English language.
Availability of 32 to 40 hours per week.
Independently assembling, modifying, and inspecting (complex) cables based on technical drawings.
Assembling various types of cables, including cutting, connecting wires, and attaching different types of connectors.
Ensuring that cables meet high-quality standards, as they are used in, among others, defense equipment, vehicles, and high-tech machines from ASML.
Translating technical customer specifications into a complete and accurate end product, using TPD (Technical Product Documentation).
Working both inside and outside a Grade 2-class cleanroom.
Participating in project teams to analyze and solve issues.
