Job summary

Poolder Digital Asset Management BV seeks a mid-level software engineer to help build data and ML solutions in our fintech environment. You will contribute to data pipelines, APIs, and client applications as part of a collaborative team of developers, a data analyst, trading experts, and crypto specialists.

The role focuses on production‑ready software using C#/.NET, Python, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL, running on Azure with Docker, Azure DevOps, and Terraform for deployment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant software development experience.
• Demonstrable experience in training and evaluating machine learning models.
• Strong backend development with C#/.NET and/or Python, plus TypeScript & React familiarity.
• Experience with REST APIs, relational databases, Git, and automated testing.
• Ability to independently deliver a clearly defined solution and explain technical decisions.
• Completed university degree (WO level) or demonstrably equivalent professional experience and capabilities.
• Good command of Dutch or English.
• Authorized to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the data analyst to develop analyses and translate them into maintainable Python software.
• Build data pipelines to collect, process, and validate market, blockchain, and portfolio data.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs, and integrations within .NET and Python environments.
• Adopt a DevOps-minded approach focusing on CI/CD, monitoring, quality, performance, and scalability.
• Make data and model outputs available in React/TypeScript applications.
• Design and maintain data models using PostgreSQL.
• Ensure automated testing, reliable deployments, logging, and monitoring.
• Contribute to technical decisions and production deployment.
