Cleo is building the world's first AI financial assistant that understands money and helps users manage it better. We are hiring an ML Engineering Manager to lead production ML models within the data science function and to guide LLM-driven conversations in the Financial Assistant feature.

You will manage ML engineers across squads, own the headcount plan, and drive hiring and team development to support our growth. This is a leadership role that blends management with hands-on ML work.

Competenze

• Extensive experience building and deploying machine learning models to production.
• Experience leading data science teams of engineers and researchers.
• Knowledge of LLMs, agent design, and modern NLP techniques.
• Ability to write production-quality Python code and stay hands-on when needed.

Mansioni

• Understand core problems faced by the Financial Assistant ML workstream and coordinate the function contributing to solutions.
• Identify opportunities for model and product improvements using Cleo’s user behavior data.
• Manage ML engineers across squads, coach and develop talent to meet roadmaps.
• Build and own the headcount plan, hiring strategy, and team development for growth.
