Job summary

VAKO Transport Systems B.V. is seeking a Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our close-knit, hands-on workshop. You will work on covering systems and container handling projects, welding, assembling, and finishing metal constructions.

You should have a VMBO/MBO in a technical field, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and be skilled in MIG/MAG welding and reading technical drawings. We value accuracy, teamwork, and a willingness to learn and take courses.

Qualifications

• VMBO/MBO in technical field required.
• At least 2 years of relevant welding/metal fabrication experience.
• Experience with MIG/MAG welding.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Able to work accurately both independently and in a team.
• Eager to learn and willing to take courses.
• Reliable, motivated with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating machines.
• Assembling metal constructions from technical drawings.
• Welding, drilling, grinding, sawing, and punching metal.
• Ensuring quality through interim inspections.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workplace and workshop.
