Job summary

ING in Amsterdam, Netherlands seeks an experienced MiFIR Transaction Reporting Professional to lead Regulatory Transaction Reporting as a single point of contact for change initiatives. You will coordinate across Front Office, Product, Operations, Technology, Compliance and Legal to embed reporting obligations from inception to production.

The role requires 5–7 years of MiFIR exposure, strong stakeholder skills and a track record on large projects, with an annual salary in the posted range.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong MiFIR Transaction Reporting experience in a banking/financial services environment.
• EMIR Transaction Reporting is a nice-to-have.
• Understanding of trade lifecycle events and reporting obligations.
• Proven implementation experience of financial markets products.
• Experience on large projects and regulatory initiatives.
• Experience owning requirements, design reviews, testing and implementation.
• Ability to operate in both Agile and traditional delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management across business and tech functions.
• Experience with senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex regulatory topics to multiple audiences.
• Proven ability to build consensus and move initiatives forward.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for MiFIR reporting obligations.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and assess impact on products and technology.
• Represent Regulatory Transaction Reporting in projects and implementations.
• Own the RTR workstream through the project lifecycle.
• Perform impact assessments and data lineage analyses.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear business and functional needs.
• Review designs and embed reporting considerations early.
• Collaborate with Technology for solution design and implementation.
• Define testing strategies and reporting validation.
• Coordinate UAT and sign-off from an RTR perspective.
• Support production releases and post-implementation reviews.
• Drive resolution of reporting risks, issues and dependencies.
• Identify regulatory risks and control gaps; assist audits.
• Contribute to process and control improvements.
