Job summary

Trinamics is seeking a Metrology Operator in Veldhoven, Netherlands, to work with advanced technology in a high-tech manufacturing environment. For our client, we are looking for a Metrology Operator who will play a key role in wafer measurement and process optimization within a highly innovative manufacturing environment. In this position, you will work with advanced metrology equipment, analyze measurement data, and contribute directly to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Measure wafer structures using advanced metrology equipment such as electron microscopes and scatterometers
• Analyze measurement results and support system qualification processes
• Monitor process performance and identify deviations or improvement opportunities
• Process and prioritize measurement requests from internal stakeholders
• Perform data analysis to improve product quality and operational efficiency
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment
• Escalate process or equipment issues to the appropriate support teams
• Work according to strict procedures and accurately register completed tasks
• Maintain stock levels and ensure operational continuity
• Share knowledge and collaborate closely with technicians, engineers, and support teams

• Completed MBO4 or HBO education in a technical field
• Experience within manufacturing, process operations, or high-tech environments
• Affinity with wafer processing, measurements, and data analysis
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Experience with process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
• Hands‑on mentality and proactive working attitude
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Willingness to work in a 5‑shift schedule
