Job summary

A leading technology firm in the Netherlands is seeking a MEMS Metrology Engineer to revolutionize the timing industry. The successful candidate will design and analyze experiments, optimize MEMS devices, and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Qualifications

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent required.
  • Experience running laboratory experiments with RF or microwave measurement required.
  • Industry experience in device measurement or measurement automation preferred.
  • Proficient in Matlab, Python, C/C++, or C#.
  • Industry experience in device measurement, measurement automation, or test.
  • PCB design experience and oscillator fundamentals preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of physics: mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics.
  • Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills.
  • Clear and concise scientific communication.
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, run, and analyze experiments to understand device physics.
  • Optimize MEMS devices and characterize their electrical performance.
  • Work in cross-functional Engineering teams, including Circuits and Systems.
  • Optimize MEMS devices and characterize their electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance.
  • Interface with local and overseas vendors.
  • Work in cross-functional Engineering teams, including Circuits, Systems, and Packaging.
  • Drive and/or support other projects as needed.

As a MEMS Metrology Engineer, you will use your technical andcreative problem solving skills to develop our metrology systems and engineerMEMS resonators for x next-generation timing products.

  • Extendand improve RF metrology and automation; lead general lab development
  • Defineand drive adoption of improved measurement standards and laboratorypractices
  • OptimizeMEMS devices and characterize their electrical, mechanical, and thermalperformance
  • Interfacewith local and overseas vendors
  • Workin cross-functional Engineering teams, including Circuits, Systems, andPackaging
  • Driveand/or support other projects as needed
Requirements & Qualifications:
