Job summary

XIVER, based at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven, seeks a Development Engineer to turn MEMS concepts into manufacturable processes. You’ll work at the interface of design and production, translating complex device ideas into stable, scalable processes for the factory floor.

You will develop MEMS manufacturing processes, drive technologies toward production, and directly impact customers and XIVER’s success. A strong hands-on engineering mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with semiconductor processing, MEMS fabrication or related cleanroom manufacturing technologies.
• Strong ability to translate complex process and metrology data into practical engineering solutions.
• Ability to independently drive technical challenges from problem definition to implementation.
• Experience bridging design and manufacturing interfaces in MEMS or semiconductor environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate MEMS process flows balancing device performance, manufacturability and yield.
• Translate complex technical challenges into structured experiments and data-driven solutions.
• Take ownership of process integration across the full development and manufacturing lifecycle.
• Lead development batches through the factory with collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
• Industrialize new MEMS technologies from lab concepts to production-ready processes.
• Identify technical risks and define robust engineering solutions for predictable manufacturing outcomes.
• Enable knowledge transfer through clear process documentation and standards.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering and Manufacturing to progress manufacturable solutions.
• Partner with technical specialists to solve multidisciplinary process integration challenges.
• Lead knowledge transfer between Development and Manufacturing.
