Job summary

XIVER, a specialized high‑tech scale‑up at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, seeks a Maintenance Engineer to keep critical production equipment safe, reliable, and available in a cleanroom setting. You will combine hands‑on troubleshooting with structured analysis and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Facilities and suppliers to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting in a production environment.
• Ability to analyse failures and distinguish symptoms from root causes.
• Clear documentation and communication with operators, engineers, quality, facilities and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Analyze failures and perform root cause analysis, 8D’s and implement improvements.
• Prepare and execute maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
• Manage spare parts, maintenance plans and technical documentation.
• Support upgrades, qualifications and supplier interventions.
• Communicate clearly on equipment status, risks and actions.
• Work closely with Operations, Process Engineering, Quality and Facilities.
• Align maintenance activities with production priorities.
• Share knowledge, support colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Drive a culture of safety, ownership and reliability.
