Job summary

The Hague Humanity Hub in The Hague is seeking a motivated intern for the Meetings & Events team to help organise and support a variety of meetings and events. You will handle bookings, assist with proposals, and ensure guests receive outstanding service to realise inspiring experiences for our guests.

You will develop long-term client relationships and support planning with the Hub’s programming team, while researching market trends and improving booking processes.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or have studied a relevant degree in hospitality, event management, business management or similar.
• Legally allowed to do an internship in the Netherlands
• Living in or near The Hague
• Available to work 5 days per week (32/36/40 hours)
• Available for the entire duration of the internship

Responsibilities

• Handle meeting and event bookings from requests to execution.
• Assist with creating comprehensive proposals for room bookings and digital event services.
• Provide outstanding service to guests before, during, and after their booking.
• Help develop and maintain long-term client relationships and partnerships.
• Assist Hub’s programming team with planning and hosting events from the Meetings & Events perspective.
• Collaborate with the Hub team to provide more value to members and customers.
• Help develop plans to boost sales and identify new channels.
• Research market trends to improve event services.
• Improve booking processes and develop templates.
