Job summary

SonicPrecision in Eindhoven is seeking a Technical Project Lead to translate our technology strategy into a practical development programme. You will bring people, technology and partners together to hit milestones on time, within budget and with verifiable evidence.

You will coordinate R&D, clinical and regulatory workstreams, manage suppliers and external collaborators, and shape documentation for ISO 13485 and EU MDR. English is the working language; Dutch is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in industrial engineering, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, technical medicine, or related technical discipline
• 1–3 years experience; graduation project in medical device development or R&D coordination counts
• Regulatory awareness in ISO 13485, IEC 62304, or EU MDR is a plus
• Structured thinking: milestone-driven planning, risk tracking, and clear documentation
• English written and spoken; Dutch is a bonus, not required

Responsibilities

• Turn product and technology roadmap into milestone-driven plan with owners and timelines
• Maintain schedule, flag risks and blockers early
• Organise milestone reviews with evidence and documents for decisions
• Ensure regulatory documentation per ISO 13485 and EU MDR
• Coordinate with R&D, Clinical, System Engineers and partners to align workstreams
• Manage suppliers and contract research organisations; translate agreements into deliverables
• Prepare grant reporting inputs and investor updates
• Document requirements, designs, risk management, and testing
• Lead and grow the in-house software team
