Job summary

ICT Group is seeking a Software Engineer to work on diverse product software projects in the High Tech unit, including medical and high tech equipment. You will engage in multidisciplinary development, with emphasis on C, Python, and C++ and modern design techniques.

You will join an informal, team-oriented culture with opportunities to grow, learn, and advance within the Eindhoven region. English proficiency is essential; Dutch is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in software related subjects or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong software engineering background with C and/or Python and/or C++.
• Familiar with STL/Boost libraries and OO design.
• Experience with modelling, OOAD, UML and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and testing processes.
• Proactive communicator and team player; good English skills (Dutch preferred).

As Software engineer within the High Tech business unit you will work on a variety of assignments and projects in domains, such as medical and high tech equipment. You are active in the area of product software engineering in a multidisciplinary product development context. Your technical abilities as a software engineer and personal competences are equally important.

• Technical background and/or experience with software engineering.

• Experienced in modelling, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, UML and Design patterns.
• Having experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and test processes in your previous projects.
• You’re an enthusiastic team player, analytical and structured.
• Are a pro-active communicator: giving and requesting feedback, stakeholder communication, problem solving dialogues, taking initiative, open and respectful team communication
• Excellent skills in at least the English language and preferably in Dutch.
• You live in the Eindhoven region and hold a valid driver's license.
