Job summary

NN Netherlands is seeking a Medior SAP QA Engineer to strengthen the SAP Business Partner environment and related services. You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests, working with a collaborative team to ensure high quality releases and reliable operation of SAP-connected systems.

You bring 3+ years of hands-on QA experience, strong Playwright skills, and a willingness to grow domain knowledge within a complex SAP landscape.

• Experience in SAP-related testing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across SAP and surrounding systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, Product Owners, and other QA professionals to improve quality from refinement to release.
• Analyze defects, identify root causes, and improve test coverage and delivery confidence.
• Support monitoring and incident management to keep services stable.

What you are going to do

• Design, maintain, and execute automated tests using Playwright for SAP‑related applications and connected services
• Translate functional and technical requirements into clear test scenarios, with attention to risk, reliability, and business value
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing across SAP and surrounding systems
• Work closely with engineers, functional specialists, Product Owners, and other QA professionals to improve quality from refinement to release
• Analyze defects, identify root causes, and help the team continuously improve test coverage, automation practices, and delivery confidence
• Support operational activities such as monitoring and incident management to help keep related services stable and reliable

What we offer you

• Salary between €4,527 and €6,036 based on 36 hours and depending on your knowledge and experience
• 13th month and holiday allowance are paid with your monthly salary

Who you are

• You have medior‑level experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably in a complex IT environment
• You have at least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Playwright; this is a prerequisite for the role
• Experience with Tosca in combination with SAP is considered a strong preference
• You enjoy working closely with others, ask the right questions, and contribute to a team culture where people can rely on one another
• You are comfortable working in a complex SAP environment and are willing to actively build up domain, process and system knowledge during the first period
• You are structured, curious, and quality‑driven, with patience and commitment to understand systems deeply and improve them step by step
• You communicate clearly with both technical and functional colleagues and are comfortable taking ownership of your work from start to finish
