Roundr is hiring a PHP (Laravel) Developer, Data Integrations, in Utrecht with hybrid work. You will own end-to-end integrations, rebuild critical parts of the system for the next growth phase, and push improvements in architecture, performance, and security.

You’ll help shape the team roadmap and report to the Senior Manager of the Source Integration Team. The role requires 4+ years in software development, with at least 2 years in PHP (Laravel), plus experience with testing and clean code.

• Ability to quickly pick up new tools and technologies.

PHP (Laravel) Developer, Data Integrations | Utrecht (hybrid) | 50 to €70K excl. holiday allowance

Please note: only apply if you're already based in the Netherlands and able to commute to Utrecht 3 days per week. Visa sponsorship is possible, but you must already be living in the Netherlands. Hiring from abroad or relocation support is not possible at the moment.

About the team

You'll join the Source Integration Team, a small team that owns the pipeline bringing in data from hundreds of providers worldwide. That pipeline is the foundation of the whole product: if the data doesn't come in clean, nothing downstream works. The team is in the middle of a big modernization: moving from a tightly coupled legacy codebase to a modern architecture that fetches from external endpoints, transforms data into a standardized format and publishes it to downstream consumers. A rare chance to shape how a core system gets rebuilt, not just maintain it.

What you'll do

• Own integrations end to end, from first API call to published data
• Rebuild critical parts of the system so they're ready for the next stage of growth
• Spot and push improvements in architecture, performance, scalability and security
• Have a real say in priorities and help shape the team roadmap
• Report directly to the Senior Manager of the team, short lines, quick decisions

What you bring

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on PHP (Laravel)
• Experience with testing and a genuine care for clean, maintainable code
• Comfort picking up new tools quickly. The stack includes PHP (Laravel), Go, GitLab CI, Google Cloud, MySQL, Postgres, Kubernetes and Docker. Knowing it all is a bonus, not a requirement
• Ownership: you like taking something from idea to production and being accountable for it
• Clear communication, openness to feedback and a drive to keep learning
