Job summary

CLEVR in Amersfoort is seeking a Medior Mendix Consultant to lead AI-enabled low-code projects, translating client challenges into Mendix solutions with AI-driven capabilities.

You will collaborate with multiple clients, design and develop Mendix apps, and mentor junior consultants while contributing to pre-sales and project estimations.

You will explore Maia, GenAI connectors, and cloud integrations, driving business value through scalable digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional Mendix experience in application design, solution architecture, or lead development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate into Mendix solutions and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Design and develop applications, workflows, and user interfaces using Mendix, following best practices for scalable, maintainable solutions.

Your role will include:

• Collaborating with clients to understand their business needs and translating these into functional requirements, user stories, and effective Mendix solutions.
• Designing and developing applications, workflows, and user interfaces using the Mendix platform, while applying best practices to create scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Exploring and applying AI capabilities within Mendix, such as Maia, GenAI connectors, and intelligent automation, andidentifyingopportunities where AI can add value to client solutions.
• Working closely with clients and colleagues toidentifyopportunities fordigitalisationand advising on the right Mendix and AI-enabled solutions to address business challenges.
• Keeping up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Mendix, low-code, and AI, and actively experimenting with new capabilities and ways of working.
• Supporting junior consultants within project teams and sharing your experience with colleagues.
• Contributing to the continuous development of our Mendix and AIexpertisethrough presentations, internal sessions, and documentation.
• Contributing to pre-sales activities and project estimations, helping shape solutions that meet client needs and deliver business value.

What you bring to the table

• A minimum of3years of professional Mendix experience in application design, solution architecture, or lead development, supported byanAdvanced certification or equivalent hands-onexpertise.
• Solidexperience translating business needs into scalable Mendix solutions, withexpertisein Studio Pro, domain modelling, microflows/nanoflows, security, deployment, modular architecture, and solution design.
• Familiarity with modern integration patterns and platforms, including REST APIs, OData, event-driven architectures, microservices, and cloud environments such as Mendix Cloud, Azure, or AWS.
• Strong consulting and client-facing skills, with experienceparticipatinginworkshops, presenting solutions,communicating withstakeholders, and bridging business, technology, and AI opportunities.
• Strong communicationskills, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to take ownership, share knowledge, and support colleagues within the team.
• An interest in exploring how AI can be applied within Mendix, with a willingness to gain hands-on experience with tools such as Maia, GenAI connectors, ML Kit, AI Bot Starter, or custom AI integrations. A basic understanding of AI concepts such as LLM capabilities, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agent patterns is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
