Job summary

MANUS is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer for Production and PCB Design to keep data-glove production running and scale. You will design and test PCBs, build production tooling, and iterate components to prevent shortages as volumes grow.

The role requires hands-on PCB design experience, failure analysis, 3D CAD work, and basic scripting, with English used for technical discussions and a hybrid on-site/office setup in Geldrop.

Qualifications

• Several PCB designs in series production, at least a few hundred units.
• Experience analysing failures of electronic products.
• Simple mechanical design in 3D CAD for housings and fixtures.
• Basic scripting for test and production tooling.
• Technical discussions in English without Dutch requirement.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for technical issues from our in-house production.
• Analyse RMAs and failed boards, and turn recurring failures into improvements.
• Find and test drop-in replacement components, and design the PCB revisions they need.
• Build test set-ups, fixtures and production tooling from schematic to 3D-printed housing and test script.
• Design prototype boards for new sensors selected by our Senior Mechatronics Engineer.
