Job summary

ASML is seeking an experienced mechatronics engineer to contribute to the design of the DUV Optical column. You will work with mechanical, optical, software and electronics experts to develop next‑gen optical elements and resolve field issues for chip manufacturing customers.

You will design mechatronics systems, run experiments to verify solutions, and translate insights into prototype proposals while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Mechatronics system design or similar with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Broad knowledge of mechatronics system design.
• Experience with MATLAB, data analysis and population studies.

Responsibilities

• Design mechatronics systems and perform experiments to verify new solutions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, optical, software and electronic teams on next‑gen optical elements and field issue resolution.
• Translate insights into proposals for prototype designs and assist suppliers as needed.
