Job summary

Job description

In this engineering role you’ll be working at the R&D department of a company developing high-tech mechatronics advanced modules and high-precision machinery. With its customers operating in the semiconductor- and related high-tech industries, you'll be working with the latest innovative techniques.

The Role

• You’ll work within multidisciplinary project teams, collaborating closely with external development partners and suppliers;
• You will be responsible for designing systems, based on system design and specifications, product costs, manufacturability, and serviceability;
• Supporting in the construction and verification of prototypes based, on customer specifications;
• Pro-actively reporting on progress and problems, aimed on continuous improvement;
• Being an active member of the project team, willing to go the extra mile where needed.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics;
• Proven experience in end-to-end machine design, related to mechatronics and/or precision engineering;
• Skilled in CAD, and not afraid to learn new software if required;
• Proven skills in the design of complex mechanical modules and systems;
• Strong affinity with mechatronics and precision mechanics;
• Experience with development as well as production processes;
• A technical and creative thinker;
• Fluent in English, both orally and in writing, as well as a clear communicator;
• Hands-on team player who likes to guide and coach colleagues and professionals.
