Job summary

Strohm is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team. You will perform first-line mechanical maintenance on production equipment, diagnose faults and conduct preventive maintenance in line with approved procedures.

You will coordinate with Production to minimize disruption, support Engineering during complex breakdowns, and ensure all maintenance work is documented accurately. The role requires at least 2 years in mechanical maintenance and solid reading of technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level background in mechanical engineering or related technical field.
• At least 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a production environment.
• Strong fault-diagnosis and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions.
• Proactive, safety-focused with ability to work independently.
• Good communication in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-line mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults to ensure safe operation.
• Carry out preventive maintenance per work orders and schedules.
• Support engineering during complex breakdowns and major repairs.
• Coordinate with production and document maintenance work.
