Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Lead to plan, coordinate and lead all maintenance activities for mechanical systems and installations within Europlant in the Netherlands. You will ensure operational efficiency and reliability of production equipment and installations.

Ideal candidates bring an HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years of industrial experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role, and strong Dutch/English language skills.

Qualifications

• Requires HBO-level mechanical engineering education.
• Experience leading industrial maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of safety rules and proactive safety approach.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, inspire and motivate the maintenance team.
• Ensure continuity and drive knowledge development within the team.
• Foster a positive, open and constructive working atmosphere with collaboration at the core.
• Overall accountability for mechanical installations and maintaining technical knowledge to keep installations in required condition.
• Develop and execute a long-term maintenance plan to ensure critical installations' condition, reliability and availability.
• Identify risks, aging and improvement opportunities and translate into concrete maintenance/investment proposals.
• Uphold safety regulations and ensure compliance within the team and with external parties.
• Promote safety awareness and ensure a safe working environment and execution of tasks.
