Job summary

C-Cube International, based in Delft, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support sensor development and measurement setups. You will collaborate with the R&D team on practical design challenges, testing, and documentation.

You will work on mechanical design, CAD modelling, prototyping, and test reporting, gaining exposure to real-world sensor technology used in offshore wind, infrastructure, and more. English communication is essential; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field (MBO/HBO/WO).
• Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Affinity with prototyping, testing, and practical problem-solving.
• Structured, independent worker with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design of sensor housings, fixtures, and test setups.
• Create and update 3D models and technical drawings.
• Assist in building and assembling prototypes.
• Support lab and field tests (set-up, execution, reporting).
• Analyze test results and suggest improvements.
• Document designs, test procedures, and findings.
