Job summary

JBT Marel Corporation in Boxmeer, Netherlands, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our prepared foods portfolio, including forming, coating, frying and heating equipment. You will join a multidisciplinary team of about 70 colleagues across Denmark, Germany, Scotland and the Netherlands, with daily work in the Netherlands.

You will translate ideas into mechanical designs, develop bills of materials, drawings and documentation in our 3D CAD and PDP processes, while ensuring safety,

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
• Experience in machinery design for food processing is preferred.
• Proficient with CAD and documentation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for a group of equipment, driving design updates to improve that equipment.
• Ensure correctness of technical documentation for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Keep equipment up to date with latest safety requirements and international standards.
• Configure, design and develop mechanical aspects using 3D CAD and PDP processes.
• Pay attention to functional, hygienic and cleaning aspects, reliability, safety and production costs.
• Deliver timely specifications for the delivered solutions.
