Job summary

A leading construction company in the Netherlands is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to focus on HVAC design for prestigious commercial and industrial building projects. The successful candidate will contribute to significant projects, including cleanrooms and hospitals. A Bachelor's in Mechanical Design is essential, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience or 10+ years in the field. Fluency in English and understanding of Dutch is desirable. Visa sponsorship and relocation services can be provided.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years or 10+ years of experience in mechanical design for commercial or industrial buildings.
• Experience in designing cleanrooms, hospitals or pharmaceutical facilities is a plus.
• Experience with cleanrooms, hospitals or pharmaceutical design.
• Fluent in English and able to read/understand Dutch (Afrikaans also good).

Mechanical Engineer Commercial & Industrial building projects

You will become part of one of the biggest construction companies in the Netherlands. The specific branch you’ll work for is their big projects division, which is around 200 people.

They will focus on the bigger and prestigious projects, which are also technically the most challenging. The projects are mainly focused on commercial and industrial buildings. Think of cleanrooms, hospitals, pharmaceutical factories, office buildings, airports, government buildings etc.

The focus of this job will be on HVAC design for these buildings. There are several projects lined up and the first will be the construction of an industrial building for chip manufacturing. For which the cleanrooms need to be designed. Any experience with cleanrooms, hospitals, or pharmaceutical design is a plus.

Requirements

• You have a bachelor's mechanical design.
• You have experience in the design of commercial or industrial buildings.
• You have experience with cleanrooms, hospitals or pharmaceutical design.
• You are fluent in English and have the ability to read and/or understand Dutch. (Afrikaans is also good)
