Our client in Weert, Netherlands is a leading manufacturer of precision cutting tools seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes and coordinate launches for new or revised products.

The role focuses on CNC programming, CAD-based production drawings, ERP-driven workflows, and hands-on process improvements within a high-tech production environment.

Qualifications

• Education at MBO+ or HBO level in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in work planning, production preparation, and coordinating manufacturing processes.
• Strong affinity with industrial and high-tech production environments.
• Ambition to contribute to development of new products, manufacturing technologies and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate technical requirements into efficient production methods.
• Excellent communication skills across Engineering, Production and Innovation teams.

Responsibilities

• Developing new CNC grinding machine programs and optimizing existing programs using advanced simulation software.
• Creating and maintaining work instructions, including defining production routing and processing sequences within the ERP system.
• Delivering internal training courses and technical workshops to colleagues across the organization.
• Preparing production drawings using CAD software.
• Programming and maintaining CNC measuring machines.
• Providing technical support and expertise to application engineers.
• Supporting production colleagues with technical challenges and process-related questions.
• Collaborating with the Innovation department to support development and continuous improvement of products.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in production techniques, manufacturing processes, and operational efficiency.

Our Client a leading manufacturer of precision cutting tools are looking to attract a Mechanical Engineer for their production operation in Weert, Netherlands. Working closely with the Engineering Team, this role will develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing

processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards and implement improvements to production processes, methods, and controls; coordinating

manufacturing launch for new or revised products.

Key Responsibilites:
