Qualifications

• BSc of MSc in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ jaar ervaring in een projectomgeving.
• Ervaring met CAD/CAE-tools zoals SolidWorks, Creo of Inventor.
• Beschikbaarheid in Nederland, bij voorkeur regio Rotterdam/Utrecht/Eindhoven.
• Bereid om visa-vrije werkzaamheden in NL te hebben.

YER Tech Solutions (TS) is looking for an entrepreneurial Mechanical Engineer who wants to be at the forefront of something new. You will play a key role in developing innovative mechanical solutions for our customers and contribute to building the engineering foundation of a fast-growing organisation.

You won't inherit a mature organisation with fixed processes and legacy structures. Instead, you'll help create the foundation of a growing engineering business with ambitious plans in the Netherlands and beyond

Your role

As Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, designing and optimising mechanical products, machines and systems within customer projects.

You will translate customer and system requirements into practical, manufacturable and cost-effective mechanical solutions. From concept engineering to detailed design and validation, you will contribute to the successful delivery of innovative engineering projects.

While the Systems Engineer defines what the overall system must do and how disciplines interact, you focus on how the mechanical solution is designed, engineered and realised.

You will work closely with Systems Engineers, suppliers and other engineering disciplines to ensure robust and high-quality outcomes.

Your responsibilities

• Translate customer and system requirements into mechanical concepts and detailed designs and describe the project proposal in a Statement of Work
• Create and maintain 3D models, drawings and technical documentation
• Perform engineering calculations such as statics or dynamics, tolerance analyses and design evaluations
• Select materials, components and manufacturing methods
• Support prototype development, testing and validation activities
• Contribute to manufacturability, assembly and cost optimisation
• Collaborate with systems, electrical and software engineers in multidisciplinary projects
• Identify and communicate technical risks and design issues
• Contribute to engineering methodologies, templates and best practices
• Support project delivery from concept through implementation

Functie-eisen

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of engineering experience in a project environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, product development and manufacturing
• Experience working on projects from concept development through detailed design and implementation
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor or similar
• Knowledge of engineering calculations, materials, tolerancing and manufacturing processes
• Commercial awareness and customer-facing skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Based in the Netherlands, preferably in the Rotterdam, Utrecht or Eindhoven region
• Dutch speaking is a strong advantage
• Authorized to work in the Netherlands without the need for visa sponsorship
• Experience across multiple industries or engineering domains is considered a plus
