Mechanical Engineer (Eindhoven)

Are you a creative and experienced Medior Mechanical Engineer ready for the next step in your career? To stay ahead and excel in the offshore pipeline installation, heavy lift and subsea construction, Allseas develops a lot of equipment ourselves. As a mechanical engineer at our office in Eindhoven you will play a pivoting role in driving the design, development and implementation of cutting-edge custom-built machinery.

Your role

As a mechanical engineer you will design from scratch custom built machinery. You will lead and manage the design and development of mechanical systems. You will conduct detailed analysis, simulations and testing to validate design and ensure that the design meet performance, quality standards and safety. You will set up and lead design reviews, brainstorm sessions and problem solving initiatives.

What we expect from you

The candidate we are looking for is very flexible and keeps up the positive spirit even if the projects makes a 90 degree turn from one day to the other. You enjoy starting from scratch and have plenty ideas how to solve a task or problem. Besides that you like being responsible from concept to commissioning and you are able to take decisions by yourself. Your good communication skills will help you to defend and explain the choices you made to everybody involved.

Besides this, you have

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics;
• Five years of proven experience in building custom built machinery;
• Proficiency in detail design in 3D using Autodesk Inventor (or similar);
• Experience with designing precision mechanics.
